To Comedians and Comedy fans in and around Jersey City,
We hope to serve as a central comedy hub for Jersey City, NJ. A place where comedy lovers in the community can find upcoming shows on this side of the Hudson and where comedians can connect, increase their reach and showcase their talents to the local community.
We hope to bridge the gap between the dense local population seeking entertainment and the amazing local talent looking to perform and work on their material. As we continue to grow, we aim to continue building out features to form dual communities of comedy lovers and performers.

6th Borough Comedy was the official standup comedy partner for Jersey City’s World on Central World Cup Event in the Heights neighborhood. We had a great time producing 3 shows throughout the 2 day event.

We teamed up again with the amazing team over at the Liberty Science Center. The Cleats and Beats themed After Dark event was a great night to hold the final shows of the largest standup comedy tournament in the tri-state area! Our first time bring comedy to the Jersey City Heights and we were fortunate enough to put on back to back shows at Tom+Henry Barbershop. The owners, Richard and Joan, also gave away a Prestige package to one lucky audience member! With Kill Tony’s return to Madison Square Garden, we decided to bring back the popular KT Themed Open Mic from last year. This was a great mic geared towards helping comics practice their material in case they get picked to go up on stage at MSG for the actual KT show later in the week. This time we welcomed an audience and, just like last year, one of our comics lucked out and went on to make her Netflix debut performing at Madison Square Garden!
